Michael Szymanski has been hired as the new director of sales and services for the Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau. Szymanski who was on the opening sales team for the Omni Dallas hotel and most recently served as the director of sales for the Omni Mandalay hotel. In 2014, he was awarded the Director of Sales of the Year for Omni Hotels & Resorts. “The opportunity to represent one of the fastest growing cities in Texas is a true honor. There are several hotel and development projects happening now that are putting Frisco in the national spotlight. I’m glad to be on the ground floor of what is shaping up to be a premier destination not only in Texas, but in the nation for meetings and sports business,” said Szymanski.
