Tennessee Announces Two Adaptive Sports Events

Tennessee will play host to two sports events, both either for or dealing with athletes with physical challenges.

The 5th Annual Adaptive Sports Conference : The Tennessee Association of Blind Athletes (TNABAhas announced the 5th Annual Adaptive Sport Conference, titled “Sports After Blindness,” to be held  in Nashville from October 24-25.

The two-day conference will cover 15 adaptive sports, recreational activities and health related sessions. Veterans and attendees with visual impairments can attend at no cost. Click here to find out more and to register. Contact Ricky Jones at 615-544-5222 with questions.

The Tennessee Association of Blind Athletes (TNABA) Memphis Chapter will play host to the Bluff City Goalball Classic in Memphis, Tennessee, November 7-8. All teams must register by October 17, 2014. For more information or to register, contact Consuelo Johnson at Consuelo.johnson050@gmail.com.
