Two-Time Title Winner Tennessee Comes In Looking to Reclaim the Championship

A cold fall weekend is the perfect time for the Southeastern Collegiate Olympic Rugby Championships (SCRC) to head to Knoxville, November 9 – 10.  Collegiate rugby athletics from across the southeast will compete at the Tennessee Rugby Park to qualify for the national championships in Knoxville.

Players from SEC universities including Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina and Missouri will all compete for the title. Tennessee is looking to reclaim what has been theirs twice before.

From simple play to hospital tackles, this game is the newest addition to the 2016 Olympics, and what better place to see the teams up close and personal.

The SCRC championships have taken place since 2009 and bring together the traditional SEC schools to compete for Rugby Championships.
