May 07, 2013

The American Cornhole Organization (ACO) is hosting the Knoxville Open tournament on May 18, 2013 at Wild Wing Café in Turkey Creek.    The Tournament will feature a doubles tournament for prizes, and ACO members and nonmembers are encouraged to compete. The event will end with a Tournament of Champions as teams will compete for the money in a “Traditional Double Elimination” best two of three in winners bracket, and one and done in losers bracket.

Visit Knoxville worked closely with the American Cornhole Organization (ACO) and Wild Wing Café to secure the ACO Knoxville Open.

“Knoxville is a great city to partner with,” said Frank Geers, President of ACO.  “We believe the city has a lot to offer our players who will travel in from outside the state to compete. The location is great, and Knoxville hits a sweet spot in the heart of ACO country, as we expect over 100 teams to compete in this first year event.”

Details and registration for the event are available at www.americancornhole.com
