This weekend Cool Sports, home of the Icearium, is gearing up for the inaugural American Cornhole Organization (ACO) State Championships. Teams from around the state will be tossing for a title Saturday.

Visit Knoxville president, Kim Bumpas stated, "This is going to be a weekend full of intense competition and family fun. We can't wait to see who's going to take home the title."

ACO officials expect as many as 200 people in attendance for the first-ever ACO Tennessee State Championships of Cornhole held in Knoxville, TN.  "We're extremely excited to have launched our State Championships Program and believe that Knoxville, Tennessee is going to be a great host city for the event in 2014 and for years to come," says Frank Geers, President of American Cornhole, LLC. The winning player and team will be awarded a custom ACO Tennessee State Championship jersey and each player will win a $250.00 Golden Ticket entry to compete in ACO World Championships of Cornhole IX, being played out in Charleston, WV, July 15-19, 2014.

The ACO Singles & Doubles State Championship will take place on Saturday from 8:30am-11pm. Friday June 6 from 5 pm -11 pm there will be open courts for the public to play Cornhole for free!

Cool Sports will offer public ice skating on Friday June 6 from 7 pm -10 pm for only $10 a person, with skate rentals included. Concessions will be available with specials on pulled pork dinners along with bar specials on Domestic Beers.
