Youth from around the world to land in York, PA for golf tournament

For the first time, York County Convention & Visitors Bureau will host the American Junior Golf Association Junior All-Star, bringing youth and their families from around the world to York, Pennsylvania, with an estimated $155,232 in increased economic impact to the county.

The tournament, which includes 51 boys and 27 girls between the ages of 12 and 15 — some traveling internationally and some traveling across the U.S. — is slated for Friday- Sunday, April 27-29, at Out Door Country Club in Manchester Township. The Country Inn and Suites by Carlson York is serving as the host hotel. The York Indoor Golf & Training Center will also be available to players and their families during their stay.

During the Junior All-Star, TaylorMade-adidas Golf Live Scoring will be available at the tournament website. On social media, the hashtags #RoadToReynolds and #JASYork will be used.

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Braselton, Georgia, dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
