Champion Cheer Central hosts cheer and dance competitions in Erie, PA. More than 100 school, recreation and all-star cheer and dance squads from the tri-state area are expected to compete in the event.

The Albion-based company will host its National Championships from April 6-7, at Erie Insurance Arena.

The total economic impact of all four Champion Cheer Central events is estimated to be $2.4 million.

“We’re excited to continue to host successful events in Erie and are looking forward to another great season,” said Heather Petz, co-owner of Champion Cheer Central. “The Erie Sports Commission and the rest of our local partners do a great job supporting all of our events, and I’m confident that we can continue to grow here for years to come.”

Champion Cheer Central has been operating cheerleading camps and cheer and dance competitions for nearly 30 years. Competitions are regularly hosted in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
