The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival has officially reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the Largest Jeep Parade with an official number of 2,420 Jeeps. The record attempt was made on June 12, 2015 in downtown Butler, PA during the fifth annual Festival. Jeeps from 38 states and Canada participated in the record-setting event.
"Our goal to bring the Guinness World Record back to Butler has been accomplished," said Jack Cohen, President of Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau. "We are so excited that we brought the record back home to the birthplace of the Jeep. Jeep owners who participated in the parade can truly celebrate since our record in now official."
The Festival originally set the record for the Largest Jeep Parade in August 2011 with 1,106 Jeeps. In April 2015, that record was broken by another Jeep event in Florida with a new total of 1,846 vehicles. Festival organizers planned the parade to coincide with the Bantam Jeep's 75th birthday celebration.
