This year, the tournament is expected to generate more than $1 million in estimated economic impact.

This year, the tournament will feature its largest contestant pool in history, with 92 teams competing in a total of 221 games over the three-day period. The competition will feature the following team divisions: 8U Coach Pitch, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U.

The first games will be held on Friday at 5 p.m. On Saturday, play will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 6:30 p.m. At the end of these games, the teams will then be seeded into a bracket play on Sunday starting at 8 a.m., and the tournament will conclude by 8 p.m. with awards to follow.

“We are excited to host the Battle of Lake Erie Tournament for another year,” said Ray Kraus, 814 Elite treasurer and tournament director. “It has been, and will continue to be, a staple softball tournament for the community.”
