2026 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championships Begin Today

The 2026 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championships are set for this Friday through Sunday, March 27-29, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Texas Women’s University will defend its 2025 team title against five other schools, while 15 individual qualifiers compete head-to-head for titles.
 

The championships serve as the final competition of the season for Division I, II, and III colleges ranked 50th or lower or those offering no more than six full scholarships.
 

The six teams taking the floor for the 2026 championships are Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Connecticut State University, Texas Women’s University, the University of Alaska Anchorage, the University of Bridgeport, and West Chester University. Individual competitors will represent Centenary College, Fisk University, Greenville University and Wilberforce University.
 

Taylor Ingle of Southeastern Missouri State and Abigail Kenney of Bridgeport are the top returning all-arounders, having placed second and third in 2025. Other top returning athletes include 2025 silver medalists Ingle on floor and Sophie Hernandez of Texas Women’s on beam. 
 

Competition kicks off with two sessions of qualifying Friday, March 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET. Team finals are set for Saturday at 7 p.m. ET followed by apparatus finals on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
