2020 Love Run Returning to Philly in March

One of Philadelphia’s most popular rites of spring, the 2020 Love Run Philadelphia Half Marathon, returns to “The City of Brotherly Love” on Sunday, March 29, 2020 featuring a world-class running experience on a race course lined with some of the United States' most significant landmarks. This will be the 8th annual race.                                                                                                                                 

The half-marathon will begin on Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. The course will start and finish in Eakins Oval and participants will experience historic and cultural landmarks including, City Hall, the LOVE sculpture, Boathouse Row, Schuylkill River and more. In true Love Run fashion, fanfare and spectators will line the race route, concluding with a celebratory finish line festival and beer garden adjacent to the famous steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum.

Race weekend begins with a free two-day Health & Fitness Expo where all participants go to pick up their race number, swag bag and t-shirt. The ultimate running resource will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 and will feature more than 50 running and fitness retailers, exhibits and a full series of interactive clinics. The Expo is free and open to the public.
