Following a competitive RFP process, The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) has been selected by the City of Keizer, Oregon, to manage Keizer Little League Park, a 10-diamond youth baseball and softball complex that has served the community since the 1980s. The five-year partnership officially began at the start of the new year and marks SFC’s first managed venue in Oregon, reflecting the company’s continued expansion into community-focused partnerships nationwide.

Located just off Interstate-5 near Keizer Station, the complex is one of the largest multi-field ballparks in Oregon and has long been home to local Little League and youth baseball/softball programs. Under the new agreement, SFC will oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, financial management, marketing support, and sponsorship development, with a focus on strengthening operational consistency and enhancing the overall guest experience.

“Keizer Little League Park, with its tremendous history, has been an important gathering place for families in our community for decades,” said Adam Brown, City Manager, City of Keizer. “As we look to the future, our goal is to preserve access for local youth while ensuring the park operates in a sustainable and well-organized way. Partnering with The Sports Facilities Companies gives us access to national best practices and operational expertise that will help us achieve those objectives.”

The agreement calls for SFC to serve as the sole and exclusive manager of the facility, overseeing operating budgets, personnel, booking coordination, and revenue-generating initiatives while maintaining alignment with City leadership. The focus is not reinvention, but stewardship: modernizing operations in a way that respects the park’s legacy and long-standing role in Keizer.

The partnership will be visible immediately, as the park prepares to host its first tournament weekend under SFC management, March 14-15. The event will welcome teams and families to the complex for a full slate of games, marking an important milestone in the transition and reinforcing the park’s role as a hub for youth sports activity in the region.

“Keizer represents exactly the type of community asset we are built to serve,” said Josh Callahan, Vice President, Venue Management at SFC. “This is a historic, community-rooted youth sports park. Our role is to come alongside City leadership and local families with structured operational systems, trained staff, and proven management playbooks that improve consistency, transparency, and experience for everyone who walks through the gates. We’re especially excited to see teams take the fields this weekend and to support a successful first tournament under the new partnership.”

In addition to supporting Keizer Little League and McNary youth baseball, the partnership is designed to responsibly increase utilization quality, improve operational clarity, and create opportunities for sponsorship and event activity that can contribute to the park’s long-term financial health. Youth sports facilities like this function not only as recreational assets but also as drivers of local economic activity through tournaments and community events.
