Sand Master Jam Coming to Oregon

On  July 19, 2014, Sand Master Park (Florence) in Oregon hosts the Sand Master Jam. Sand Master Park, the world’s first sandboard park (think of snowboarding on sand), will be hosting its annual professional and amateur sandboard competition.

This event is free to the public (whether you wish to compete or just watch), and is a great excuse for heading west to enjoy all that Florence has to offer. It’s the longest running sandboard competition in the world, and draws big names that catch even bigger air.

Located on the beautiful Pacific coast, Sand Master Park has 40 acres of private sand dunes with a variety of activities the whole family can enjoy while checking out Sand Master Jam. Sandboards, sand sleds, boogie boards, and skim boards are available for rent and lessons are offered for first-timers wanting to carve the dunes. Dune buggy tours are also available, and spectators and participants can stay on-site at Sand Master Park’s RV park.
