Portland, OR, to Host ProKennex Tournament of Champions

ProKennex & the IRT are proud to bring the pros to the NW from May 14-18. ProKennex and help from the Multnomah Athletic Club is very excited to announce the IRT Tournament of Champions that was a fixture at MAC for many years in the 1980s and '90s. This Pro-Am Tournament, will feature the top 8 players from the IRT season. The tournament will also feature amateur competition at all levels, including doubles, making it an excellent opportunity for all players throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Amateur players will be able to watch all the pro matches as part of their tournament entry fee. The MAC Pro AM & IRT Tournament of Champions Presented by ProKennex will also double as the 2014 NW junior Regionals.

All participants receive free posters of Kane and Daniel, plus other ProKennex goodies. Both will be available throughout the tournament for signatures as well.

IRT Schedule:

Pro Qualifier Thursday 4-10pm
Round of 16 Friday 10-1pm
Quarters 5-8pm
Semis Saturday 11-12pm
Finals Saturday 7pm

Supporting a Great Cause: The Military Racquetball Federation: In addition to being an IRT tour stop, the ProKennex Tournament of Champions also will benefit the Military Racquetball Federation, a non-profit organization founded in 2008 to promote racquetball throughout the US Military branches worldwide. The MRF works with wounded warriors to support injured servicemen and women in their recoveries with racquetball programming and equipment via the Racquetball Rehablitation Clinic program. Play Doubles with the Pros & Support the Military Racquetball Federation: MRF's Racquetball Rehabilitation Clinics programs in conjunction with IRT offers the chance to 8 people to play doubles with the pros while benefiting the RRC program. Wounded military members & veterans are involved in programs at bases throughout the country. A $200 tax deductible donation to MRF which is a non profit 501c3 will reserve a spot in the pro-am with the top 8 IRT pros on Thursday, May 15th.
