The Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau (OKC CVB) has added three more employees to its staff and promoted Kellie Myers as the new Director of Convention Services.

Kellie Myers, who was recently named one of Destinations International’s 2022 30 Under 30 recipients, was selected as the Director of Convention Services. Myers has served as a Convention Services Manager since 2019 at the OKC CVB.

In addition, the OKC CVB is scaling its convention sales team, adding Mandy Holt a 10-year veteran in the OKC hospitality scene, most notably serving roles at The Skirvin and the former Renaissance Hotel (now Wyndham Grand). Holt, the OKC CVB’s new Convention Sales Manager, has spent several years away from the hospitality industry, but is excited to resume her passion of showcasing the Modern Frontier.

Stepping into the CRM Database & Sales Coordinator position is Lydia Watkins. Watkins graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2022, earning a degree in Strategic Communications. Previously, Watkins worked as a Social Media Intern at Wooden Nickel.

Randall Sweet is the third member of the newly hired trio, coming to the OKC CVB after graduating from the University of Oklahoma in May 2022. While in school, Sweet was a beat reporter for the OU Daily and a freelance reporter, garnering multiple bylines in the Norman Transcript. He serves as the OKC CVB’s Communications Coordinator.

“We’re excited to continue strengthening our team and their expertise is critical to achieving the OKC CVB’s goals,” said Zac Craig, president of the OKC CVB. “Our convention business and leisure visitors are outpacing pre-pandemic levels, and we look forward to scaling our staff as we grow our destination.”
