The Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host the NJCAA Region 2 Soccer Championships Tournament on Saturday, October 29th and Sunday, October 30th at the Miami Multi-Purpose Event Complex at Red Robertson Field.

Games on Saturday will take place at 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.   The Championship games on Sunday will be played at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

An all-game pass is available for $15 for adults and $10 for students (12 & under).  Single day tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Miami CVB office (101 N Main Street) or at the ticket gate on the days of the event.

This is the third consecutive year the CVB and City of Miami has been awarded the bid to host this event.

“This event continues to grow for us.  We had good crowds last year that experienced some very competitive college soccer.  This is a great event as the teams stay in hotels and eat in restaurants in our community.  November is a month that we work hard to recruit business, it’s a lower revenue month for overall hotel receipts.  This event fits into our schedule perfectly” stated Amanda Davis, CVB Executive Director & Director of Tourism for the City of Miami.

Special recognition of the Region 2 all-region team and all-tourney team for men and women will take place during the tournament. Teams participating in the tournament include Eastern State College, Rose State College, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and Northern Oklahoma College (Tonkawa).
