USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships will be held from Aug. 11-12 in Cleveland. Races will center around Edgewater Park, and more than 5,000 athletes from all 50 states and Washington, D.C., are set to compete.

Age Group Nationals is USA Triathlon’s largest and longest-running National Championships event, and Cleveland is hosting for the first time since 1992. Athletes ages 15-88 will compete for national titles in their age groups, as well as for the opportunity to represent Team USA at the 2019 ITU Triathlon Age Group Sprint- and Standard- (Olympic) Distance World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Racing begins on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 7 a.m., with the Olympic-Distance National Championships. Athletes must qualify to compete in this race by earning a competitive finish in a previous USA Triathlon-sanctioned race. The course features a 1,500-meter swim, 40k bike and 10k run.

On Sunday, Aug. 12, at 7 a.m., the action continues with the Sprint National Championships. No qualification is required for this race, which features a 750m swim, 20k bike and 5k run.
