The Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour, the longest-running professional wakeboard competition will visit West Chester, Ohio this weekend as part of its 25th-anniversary season. Voice of America MetroPark will host the final stop of the tour on August 12, 2017.
The event will bring an estimated economic impact of $150,000 to the region and feature the top 16 professional men wakeboarders in the world competing for the coveted world championship. In addition to high-flying wakeboard action, the Supra Boats Pro Wakesurf Tour will bring one of the hottest up-and-coming sports in North America to West Chester. Wakesurfing – riding the boat’s wake without the help of a towrope – saw an astonishing 30 percent year-over-year growth from 2012 to 2015.
