The Cleveland Marathon today named University Hospitals the official title sponsor for the Cleveland Marathon’s 2025 season. The multi-year commitment deepens the relationship between the marathon and UH which have been partners since 2015, with UH Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute serving as the official healthcare provider for the event.
The University Hospitals Cleveland Marathon is slated for race weekend, May 17-18, 2025.
“You couldn’t ask for a better partner than University Hospitals,” said Executive Race Director Jack Staph. “UH has played a critical role for a long time, serving as our Official Medical Provider and ensuring the best possible care for the thousands of runners that come to Cleveland each year. This race is all about Cleveland and it makes me particularly proud to deepen our relationship with an institution that’s been part of Northeast Ohio for more than 155 years.”

Registration is open for the 48th University Hospitals Cleveland Marathon which will welcome runners back to The Land for race weekend, May 17-18, 2025. As northeast Ohio’s premier distance running event, race weekend features activities for all ages and skill levels, from the 5k and Kids Fun Run to the half and full marathons and Two-Day Challenge Series. The University Hospitals Cleveland Marathon is committed to working with organizations featuring the diverse talent and ingenuity across northeast Ohio.
The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line either. All guests can enjoy the 26.3 Mile After Party presented by Fat Head’s Brewery and the Cleveland Marathon Health & Fitness Expo presented by University Hospitals for a chance to check out and purchase the latest gear and engage with vendors.
