“We are thrilled to bring the best American women athletes to Canton to compete in this national championship event, which is scheduled between the U.S. Olympic Trials – Track & Field and the Olympic Games in Tokyo.” said Tina Oprean, Race Director of the event. “The championship event of the Women’s 6K Festival is a great component to what we already have planned with the Women’s 6 km Run/Walk and the post-race Festival.”

A unique day of fitness, sisterhood, empowerment, and opportunity is planned for this women’s only event, which is open to all women of all abilities in the Open Division of the race.  The public is welcome to participate in the run/walk and the post-race festival.

The 2021 USATF Women’s 6 km Championship presented by Toyota is an invitation-only race. The post-race festival will be held in Downtown Canton at Centennial Plaza and will feature vendors, speakers, and music.
