Wake Nation Cincinnati will welcome the 2013 Nautique and Rockstar WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by Polariod Action on July 25-27 held at Wake Nation Cincinnati located in Fairfield.

The wake park nationals will feature athletes of all ages who will compete in 25 categories including Pro Women Wakeskate, Adaptvie Sitboarding, Pro Veterans, and more.

This event coincides with the 2013 Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships happening July 25-27 at Voice of America MetroPark. Having both events occur simultaneously allows cable and boat riders the ability to compete in both championship events.

“Combining both Wakeboard (Boat) & Wake Park (Cable) National Championships has been something that the WWA has always wanted to do; however, the opportunity just hasn’t come together, until now,” said Rob Corum, executive director World Wakeboard Association. “We are more than ecstatic to see both amazing contests conjoin into a true dual-aspect event and can’t wait to see the riders rip it up behind the boat and on the cable.”

The merger of the two events creates the largest participation for a single event in the history of wakeboarding. The event will bring together hundreds of boat and cable riders for this monumental occasion.

“The dual championship events serve as a great opportunity for spectators to enjoy both cable and boat riders at the same time,” said Mark Hecquet, Executive Director of the Butler County Visitors Bureau. “We are thrilled to offer spectators an opportunity to see a diverse line up of professional riders.”

Members of the media and community are invited to experience the thrill of action watersports during the 2013 Nautique and Rockstar WWA Wake Park National Championship event July 25-27 at Wake Nation Cincinnati.

The wake park national championships is one of five national championships being hosted in Butler County. For more information about upcoming national championship events, visit www.gettothebc.com/sports/portfolio/2013nationalchampionships/
