The Powerade State Games of North Carolina rolls into the Raleigh area this summer, with competitions running throughout the month of June in Raleigh, Cary and Durham. More than 14,000 athletes from all 100 counties in N.C. will participate in 20-plus sports at more than 20 venues. Over the course of the event, 20,000-plus visitors to the area are expected. A big thank you to the City of Raleigh, the Town of Cary and North Carolina State University for hosting the events in Greater Raleigh. The Powerade State Games will return to the area again in 2016.
