The Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games are coming to Lake Placid January 12-22. In addition to thousands of world class athletes, they'll be bringing a party - and a conference.
The Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games are the largest collegiate sporting event on the planet and will welcome athletes and spectators from over 50 countries. Don't miss the chance to see world class hockey, figure skating, snowboarding, Alpine skiing, ski jumping, curling, and more!
The Lake Placid 2023 FISU Festival will take over Main Street for the duration of the games. With events and shopping throughout the day, a nightly medal ceremony, and an impressive lineup of FREE live music each evening.
Concerts will start outside on Main Street following medal ceremonies and then move inside for 'Late Night Sessions' at Smoke Signals on Main Street.
As part of the games, the FISU World Conference will be in Lake Placid January 13-15. If you love winter and are interested in what activists are doing to save winter, mark your calendar.
