New York's Fashion Institute of Technology is set to host the 26th FIT 'Newgy' Open Table Tennis Championships this weekend the 12-13 November 2016. With a total prize pool of just under $3,000 it is one of the most popular tournaments in New York and runs twice a year.
With top events like the Open and 2500 rating event to the College Open and Senior over 40, the tournament caters for competition of all levels and ages. Attracting around 150-200 entries it is a great competitive and social event for players from the tri-state and surrounding areas.
This will be the 3rd FIT tournament of the year, the previous tournament in June saw an outstanding final between Kai Zhang and Germany's Julian Mohr with the Westchester based Zhang taking the honors in the clutches of a 3-2 duel!... Entry Info
