New York Road Runners Announce Record-Breaking Economic and Community Impact

New York Road Runners (NYRR) races injected nearly $1B in incremental spending into the New York City economy and the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon’s impact was close to $700 million, including $287 million in spending on accommodations and dining and $19 million on local transportation. Participation in NYRR events and programs increased seven percent year-over-year, serving more than 668,505 athletes of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
