Moreys Piers, New Jersey, to Host Beach Half Marathon, Race Series

Moreys Piers, New Jersey, is producing its Wild Half on May 15, 2016.

The event is a running series that includes an 8K and 5K as well as a half-marathon and ancillary activities.

All races combine the love of running with the rhythm of beach life for one amazing race. Set along the sights and sounds of the Wildwoods, the flat course takes you from stunning beach views of the coast into the action of the boardwalk creating one unforgettable race.  Of course we are also packing in the fun Friday through Sunday with rides, beach yoga, a WILD after party and more!

Brand NEW for 2016, The Virtual Runner!  Now you can be a part of the Wild Half Family from anywhere on the planet...no we really mean that! Register for the Virtual Half Marathon or 8K and get the official race bib and bling just for running.

Kids also get to take part in all the action with the Wild Child Beach Run for kids 12 and under.

12pm: Wild Child Beach Run at Rendezvous Beach located on the beach at Mariner's Pier, Schellenger Ave. & the boardwalk 

12pm - 1pm: Wild Child After Party at Rendezvous Beach 

4pm - 5pm: Beach Yoga at Schellenger Ave. & the beach

6am - 7am: Packet Pick Up at Fox Park located at Burk Ave. and Ocean Ave.  

7:25am: National Anthem, Start of Race at Fox Park

7:30am: Half Marathon Race Starts

7:45am: 8K Race Starts

 7:45am: 5K Race Starts

 9:30am - 12pm: WILD After Party

10:30am: Awards Ceremony at Fox Park

 12pm: Race Course Closes

12pm - 5pm: Amusement Rides at Morey's Piers
