The premier event in professional and amateur racquetball is making a triumphant return! The US OPEN Racquetball Championships will take place June 9-13, 2027, in Springfield, Missouri. Racquetball athletes and enthusiasts from around the world can now mark their calendars as the sport’s most prestigious tournament returns to the world stage.

Since its inception, the US OPEN has set the gold standard for professional play, drawing top-ranked professionals and emerging stars from around the globe and showcasing the intensity, skill, and passion that define the sport. Amateur athletes will naturally have their shot at division champion medals as well.

USA Racquetball Hall of Famer and two-time US OPEN Champion Cliff Swain notes, “Competing in the US OPEN is an event different from all others and was a major highlight of my racquetball career. As a huge fan of the game and an avid spectator, I have always enjoyed seeing players from around the globe contend to earn the best trophy on the biggest stage. Having a major event like this is crucial to the sport’s success, and I’m so excited to be a part of it along with my great friend and expert event coordinator, Jeff Collins. Springfield is well equipped to handle a major event like the US OPEN, and it’s my hope that the pros and amateurs have a spectacular experience that will leave us all looking forward to the next US OPEN in 2027.”

The event will be hosted at Missouri State University and the Springfield Expo Center. The host hotel will be University Plaza, just two minutes from both venues. Spectators can expect an immersive experience with thrilling matches, interactive fan engagement, and opportunities to meet the stars of the game.
