Kansas City is about to see a new sport: foot golf.
Beginning May 3, individuals will be able to try the new pastime, a combination between soccer and golf, when it opens next month at the Heart of America Golf Course in Swope Park.
An article in KSHB Kansas City noted,
Players kick a soccer ball into large cups across the 18-hole course, dodging water hazards, sand pits and traversing hills. The sport is gaining popularity in other parts of the country, but is brand new to Missouri.
