St. Paul, Minnesota, will host its Dragon Boat Festival 2013 on July 13 & 14.
Lake Phalen will be the site of dragon-boat races, where teams of 20 will paddle across the lake in colorful, 40-foot-long boats. Other highlights of this family-friendly event include canoe rides, children's activity area, martial-arts demonstrations, and cultural performances featuring a variety of traditional music and dance from all over Asia.
There will also be plenty of food to snack on throughout the weekend. Parking and admission are free.
