Minnesota to Host 2015 National Senior Games Presented by Humana

Many Sports to be Offered in Divisions from Age 50 to 100-Plus

The 2015 National Senior Games Presented by Humana will be held in Minnesota from July 3-16.

The cities of Bloomington, Minneapolis and St. Paul will play host.

A total of 12,000 athletes ages 50 are expected to attend from across the nation.

Sports to be offered are as follows:

Individual Sports:  Archery, Badminton, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Race Walk, Racquetball, Road Race, Shuffleboard, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track and Field and Triathlon.

Team sports to be offered are as follows: Basketball, Softball, Volleyball.

Demonstration sports for the 2015 Games are as follows: Baseball, Disc Golf and Judo.

All individual sports are offered separately for men and women in five-year age divisions beginning with 50 and ending with 100+. All team sports are offered separately for men and women in the following age divisions: 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, and 75+. In addition, 3-on-3 basketball shall have an 80+ age division.
