Brainerd Hosts Weekend of Superbike, Watercross Racing

From September 13-15, Brainerd, MN, hosts CRA Superbike Racing  and IWA Watercross Snowmobile Racing.

The Central Roadracing Association brings exciting Superbike racing to Brainerd International Raceway (BIR). Watch as racers challenge the tight turns on BIR's road course, taking the corners on two wheels and a knee. Information is available from the website.  

September 13-15 is a Dual Event Weekend with IWA Watercross, defined as snowmobile racing on open water. Snowmobiles drag race across Lake BIR and compete in oval racing. (And sometimes they sink to the bottom of the lake, only to be pulled out, dried off and lined up again for more racing). Organizers describe the weekend as great entertainment for the whole family.
