Lansing Sports Commission Projects Significant Economic Impact

Four sports events will bring more than 2,000 athletes and additional thousands of coaches, families and spectators to the greater Lansing area in the coming weeks. The Lansing Sports CommissionTM is excited to host archery, bowling, and gymnastics events taking place at the Lansing Center, Royal Scot Golf & Bowl and Ingham County Fairgrounds.

“Greater Lansing is proud to host multiple events that bring in athletes from across the country,” said Meghan Ziehmer, Executive Director for the Lansing Sports CommissionTM. “Events like these generate significant economic impact for the region by filling our local hotels, restaurants and venues. We couldn’t make them happen without our partners and a generous team of volunteers. The public is invited and encouraged to attend these events.”
