HYROX, billed as ‘the World Series of Fitness Racing’, is kicking off its 2025-26 US season with a new event in Boston.
The event organiser has reporting that 86% of tickets for the inaugural Boston event weekend are already sold. It added that US involvement in its events has grown by over 300% year-on-year, with over 70,000 participants nationwide in the USA in the 2024-25 season.
The three-day event, taking place from September 26–28, 2025, will host races across Singles, Doubles, and Relay divisions at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The rganisers anticipate over 12,000 participants will compete.
Douglas Gremmen, Chief Growth Officer at HYROX, said “Boston has long been a cornerstone of American sport, with a legacy that aligns perfectly with HYROX’s vision. As we accelerate our expansion across the US, launching the US 2025/26 season here was a strategic decision driven by both demand and opportunity.”
He added “The East Coast, and Boston in particular, has shown incredible enthusiasm for the sport, making it an ideal market for us to build upon. We are focused on deepening our footprint across the US as we move into this next phase of growth.”
The Boston event marks the official start of the 2025-26 US season, which has 11 events scheduled, including new stops in Washington DC and Anaheim, CA.
