2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships Coming to Boston

Nearly 200 Skaters Expected at March Event

The International Skating Union (ISU) awarded U.S. Figure Skating and The Skating Club of Boston the rights to host the ISU World Figure Skating Championships at Boston's TD Garden. The World Figure Skating Championships will bring close to 200 skaters from over 30 countries to Boston's TD Garden to compete for four international titles.

This event is the most prestigious international competition of the year and is the most important annual figure skating competition in the world! Past U.S. winners include Dick Button, Dorothy Hamill, Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano, Kristi Yamaguchi, Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner, Todd Eldredge and 5-time champion Michelle Kwan.
