Maryland to Host USA BMX 2015 East Coast Nationals

The USA BMX East Coast Nationals are returning to Maryland June 12-14. The event will be held at Chesapeake BMX in Severn Danza Park, which has hosted the East Coast Nationals event for the last five years.
This year over 1200 riders will be representing seven countries, including Columbia, France and Brazil, and from almost every US State. With record breaking numbers, the event will be the largest BMX racing event ever for the Middle Atlantic region.
The East Coast Nationals is an advantageous event for Maryland and for Anne Arundel County. USA BMX estimates that the economic impact of this event is between $850,000 and $1.25 million, making it an important weekend for Maryland.
Another exciting development to this year’s event is that this willl be the first East Coast National which will be held at Chesapeake BMX since the track was announced to be the #1 track on the East coast and third overall in the nation out of a field of over 350 facilities.
USA BMX is the national sanctioning body for the sport of BMX in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. With over 375 sanctioned tracks and 70,000 members, USA BMX coordinates national, regional, state and local scheduling while promoting and and growing the sport of BMX.
