Water Polo Canada National Team Coach Maxime Crevier, Olympian Kelly McKee, and former Team Canada athlete Gaelan Patterson are coming to Winnipeg to lead a water polo development camp starting Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg.

On Friday, September 26, 2025 from 7pm – 9pm, Water Polo Canada and the Manitoba Water Polo Association (MWPA) are hosting a fun introduction to water polo for young swimmers ages 6–13 who are looking for a fun new challenge. This workshop provides an opportunity to learn water safety, passing, catching, shooting, and experience the teamwork and strategy that make water polo so appealing.

“This is a unique opportunity for Manitoba athletes to learn from individuals who have represented Canada on the world stage.” said Lisa Cupples, President of the MWPA.

“It’s exciting to bring our experiences back to the grassroots level,” said Team Canada Olympian Kelly McKee. “These camps show young athletes what’s possible and help build a strong future for water polo in Canada.”
