Karate Manitoba is proud to present its annual Provincial Open Karate Tournament on Saturday June 6th at Glenlawn Collegiate Institute, 770 St. Mary’s Rd, Winnipeg, Manitoba. This event will welcome over a hundred (100) athletes from across Manitoba and Saskatchewan competing in Manitoba's premier karate championships.

Karate Manitoba is pleased to welcome guest referees from Quebec and Alberta who bring international officiating certifications from Karate Canada and the World Karate Federation (WKF). In addition to Manitoba’s nationally and internationally certified referees, guest referees will provide the highest standard of officiating in the history of this event.

The doors will open at 8:30 am, and the competition will begin at 10:00. Once again, the tournament will feature the Special Little Tiger Flag Kumite (sparring) Division (4 to 6 years old). The 2014 Grand Champions will return to defend their titles in the black belt divisions against Manitoba’s elite karate athletes.

Admission is free. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the Prairie Regions’ best karate athletes.
