CurlManitoba is hosting the 2023 Dynasty Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship at the St. Vital Curling Club this weekend. The event features 20 teams competing in a triple knockout format starting at 4:00pm Friday, February 17th and concluding at 4:00pm on Monday, February 20th where a new Provincial Champion will be crowned.
CurlManitoba has not hosted a Provincial Mixed Doubles Championship since February 2020. The event was held at the Brandon Curling Club that year, with Derek Samagalski and Krysten Karwacki defeating Steve Irwin and Stacey Irwin (Fordyce) in the Final. The Irwin/Irwin team is back this year looking to improve one position from 2020, they are joined by other top seeds: Lott/Lott, Lach/Chambers, Lyburn/Lyburn, and Arbuckle/Macdonell.
