The spotlight is on Winnipeg this week as the 2025 Speedo Junior Development Nationals take over Pan Am Pool from July 3–6, 2025. Come see Canada’s next generation of Olympic hopefuls in action.

This national championship brings together over 100 of Canada’s top junior C and D divers (ages 13 and under) from coast to coast. The event is hosted by Revolution Diving, in partnership with Dive Manitoba and sanctioned by Diving Plongeon Canada.

For young divers, this is a critical stepping stone as they are the future of Canadian sport.

Local stars in the spotlight: Winnipeg’s Gabriel Brombach and Mila Mortele, are among the province’s brightest young athletes. They’ll be competing in their home pool in front of friends, family, and local fans.

Elite national competition: With athletes from across Canada diving into action, this national championship showcases the highest level of talent in this age group.

Ken Stevens, Executive Director of Dive Manitoba, notes, "We’re proud to host this major event in Winnipeg and even prouder of the athletes representing our community. Gabriel and Mila are outstanding young divers, and this is a unique opportunity for local media to help tell their story. We invite you to come meet them, see them compete, and shine a light on a sport that’s full of talent, precision and passion."
