The Maine Sports Commission proudly announces events for winter 2021 and all the way into 2022.

Millinocket Marathon - Millinocket - December 5

This is the 6th running of this uniquely free race making a positive impact on its host community since 2015. Nonprofits have been created for runners to contribute when registering. Ever seen logging trucks at a finish line? Bronson Arroyo and band returns. Expect unique costumes and a festive atmosphere for this entertaining spectator event!

Santa Sunday - Sunday River - December 6

250 Santas will be cruising down to South Ridge. Santas must arrive in full attire. All money raised benefits the River Fund.

Hincapie Cycling is coming to Maine! George Hincapie, whose career includes crossing the Tour de France finish line 17 times, founded Hincapie Cycling. Their team selected Bangor for their Gran Fondo ride with 15, 50 and 80 mile routes. MSC thanks

Maine Senior Games has a full calendar set for 2022. Their mission is to provide athletic events and wellness opportunities to improve the health and fitness of people 45 and over. Who knows - you may find yourself competing at National Senior Games, May 2022!
