The Maine segment of the Farm to Fork Fondo, a gran fondo event from August 27-28, 2016, will begin in Wolfe's Neck Farm, Freeport.

The event brings in hundreds of cyclists who will travel through the area in a group, stopping to sample the delicacies at various farms.

Farms featured on the ride are Crystal Spring Farms, Brunswick; East Branch Farm, Durham; Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, New Gloucester; Pineland Farms, New Gloucester; and Wealden Farm in Freeport.

Combine a beautiful ride through enduring farmland along Vacationland's coast, hundreds of cyclists from beginners to professionals, aid stations with treats straight from local farms, a post-ride Maine lobster bake and farm to fork barbecue feast, and you've got yourself the Farm to Fork Fondo – Maine.

Rules & Policies.

Note: space is limited to 450 riders.

Various durations are available, including the Team Colavita Gran Fondo, which is 90 miles long, the Medio Fondo at 57 miles, Piccolo Fondo at 35 miles and the Ramble Ride (10 miles.) *In order to offer the 10-mile Ramble Ride at a smokin' deal, it does not include a T-shirt or timed segments.
