Athletx Sports Group, home of multiple nationally recognized sports event brands, and Elizabethtown Sports Park, one of the nation’s premier venues for baseball and softball events, have agreed to a multi-year partnership making Athletx the exclusive host of all diamond sports events at Elizabethtown Sports Park.
Athletx Sports Group and Elizabethtown Sports Park have worked together since 2012 to establish a significant diamond sports footprint from the Great Lakes to the Southeast, hosting over 50 events for youth athletes from all over the country. In 2019, the two organizations partnered on four week-long tournaments, three individual player events and three weekend team-based tournaments, hosting over 5,000 athletes and their families. The new partnership paves the way for massive growth in event opportunities for baseball and softball players ages 7 to 18 as Athletx Sports Group plans a full slate of exciting new events for spring, summer and fall of 2020.
As a state-of-the-art facility with 12 fully lit fields, spacious practice areas and a large pavilion that is perfect for ceremony space, Elizabethtown Sports Park is amply equipped to accommodate Athletx Sports Group’s growing need for increased tournament dates. Additionally, the park recently accepted a $2.6M bid from Georgia-based AstroTurf to convert all 12 infields to synthetic turf, further enhancing the park’s attractiveness to youth baseball and softball players and their families across the state, region, and country.
