The Overland Park Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the JCC Youth Triathlon 2013 will be held on June 23, 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
The event will begin at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, 5801 W. 115th Street. The event is a fun way for children with wide ranges of experience, from novice to serious athlete, to participate individually or as part of a 2-3 person team.
The JCC Youth Triathlon is open to youth 4-17 years of age (NOTE: Per USA Triathlon Rules, the race age for an athlete is his/her age on Dec 31 of the year of the event.)
Categories:
Tri for tots - 4-5 year olds
Short Course - 6-10 yr olds
Long Course - 11-14 yr olds
Elite Course - 15-17 yr olds
