Heartland Soccer Association, the largest youth soccer league in the United States, will welcome more than 1,305 teams and approximately 22,000 players to the pitch for its 2026 Fall League season.
Players ages 9 to 19 representing approximately 170 clubs from Kansas, Missouri and surrounding states will compete throughout the fall at four premier soccer complexes across the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The Fall League operates at the Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex, Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex, Swope Soccer Village and Compass Minerals Sporting Fields. Open to players of all skill levels, the league offers recreational and premier competition while providing athletes with opportunities to develop their skills and compete throughout the season.
“With the FIFA World Cup bringing the world’s attention to soccer and Kansas City playing such an important role in the tournament, the excitement surrounding the sport can be felt throughout our community,” said Shane Hackett, executive director of Heartland Soccer. “We are proud to provide a place where players of every skill level can compete, develop and deepen their connection to the game. Our clubs, coaches, referees, volunteers and families are an important part of what makes Kansas City such a special soccer community.”
Registration is also open for Heartland Soccer’s 2026 fall tournament season. Upcoming events include the Open Cup, July 31-Aug. 2; Fall Kick Off Challenge, Aug. 14-16; Heartland Midwest Classic, Sept. 4-6; Midwest All Boys, Sept. 18-20; Midwest All Girls, Sept. 25-27; Children’s Mercy Heartland Invitational Girls, Oct. 23-25; and Children’s Mercy Heartland Invitational Boys, Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

Heartland Soccer continues to invest in technology and partnerships designed to enhance the player and spectator experience. This fall, VidSport will provide live streaming and on-demand replay services for matches played at the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex, allowing families and fans to watch games live or revisit highlights throughout the season.
Heartland Soccer also offers community and corporate partners opportunities to connect with one of the largest youth sports audiences in the Midwest.
