Quidditch is a mixed gender full contact sport created in 2005 by students at Middlebury College in Vermont.  Fans of the Harry Potter series will be excited to watch this sport that features elements from rugby, basketball and dodgeball.  In addition, all players must compete with brooms between their legs at all times.

The Midwest Region includes the states of Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.  On average 10-15 teams participate in the Fall Midwest Regional bringing 210-315 athletes. Teams and spectators are expected to spend more than $121,500 at local businesses.
