Rockford Ready to Welcome High School Bowling

The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (RACVB) proudly welcomes the 2020 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Girls Bowling State Finals back to the Rockford region February 20 - 22, 2020. There are expected to be 500 players, coaches and fans in attendance this weekend at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, IL. This is an opportunity for media to take photos of this elite sports tournament that fills approximately 575 room nights with visitors projected to spend an estimated$103,500 while visiting the Rockford region.

The Cherry Bowl, 7171 Cherryvale N. Blvd., Rockford, IL 61112, will be the site of all action.

The top bowling teams with the highest pin count for both rounds in the sectional competitions advance to the IHSA state final tournament. There are a total of 24 teams, 30 individual bowlers andfive athletes in the wheelchair division all competing in this tournament. The local team competing is representing Harlem High School. Individual bowlers competing include players from Belvidere and Belvidere North high schools.
