Kankakee County, IL, hosts the Kankakee River Regatta, Aug. 30-Sept. 2.
There are two locations:
North Shore: Kankakee Valley Boat Club, 1600 Cobb Blvd., Kankakee, IL 60901.
South Shore: KCC and River Road Park, County Highway 4000 and 500 East Roads, Kankakee, IL 60901
Powerboat races plus the Taste of Kankakee with Live Entertainment on Friday, Daily Car Shows, Craft Fairs, Kids Games, Bean Bag Tournaments, Police vs. Fire Tug of War, and Live Entertainment.
