Chicago Ridge Park District to Hold Western Open Mini Golf Tournament

Some might be able to drive a golf ball 300 yards but to navigate the colorful yet challenging course of Ball Fore Miniature Golf Course during the Western Open Miniature Golf Tournament, will take miniature expertise.

Putt against the Pros and register for the Chicago Ridge Park District’s Third Annual Western Open Miniature Golf Tournament, June 27th - 28th for a chance to win the $1,500 grand prize.

The third annual Western Open Miniature Golf Tournament will be held at Ball Fore Miniature Golf Course in Chicago Ridge and showcases 50 competitors from over 30 states and three countries. “It’s one of the top four tournaments in the world and it’s very exciting to bring it to the Chicago Southland,” said Kevin King, Director of Parks and Recreation for the Chicago Ridge Park District.

“With competitors from all over the world coming to the Chicago Southland, it’s great they’ll experience our easy interstate accessibility, fine dining options and abundance of family-friendly activities,” said Jim Garrett, President / CEO of the Chicago Southland CVB. “With 34 courses and over 600 holes, the Summer of Golf is in full swing in the Chicago Southland.”
