Chicago to Host 'Rugby on the Rise'

Nov 01, 2016

Rugby, an already well-established international sport, is growing. From the attendance record-setting match between the New Zealand All Blacks and USA Rugby Eagles at Soldier Field in 2014, to its re-introduction to the Olympics this year, rugby is experiencing a surge in recognition and participation. A hotbed for the fastest growing sport in the US, Chicago is a city providing opportunity to contribute to rugby's rise - through youth initiatives, increased sponsor engagement, and access to a passionate sports fan base.

Join us November 3rd for a discussion on the rise of rugby, and how Chicago and the sport can capitalize on the upcoming Rugby Weekend to continue growing the game's popularity in the US and abroad.
