Whitney Young High School and Simeon High School are teaming up with KemperLesnik, a leading public relations, sports marketing and events agency, to bring the top high school basketball programs to Chicago for the 2014 and 2015 Chicago Elite Classic.
The 2014 showcase will take place on December 5 and 6 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Hosts Whitney Young and Simeon will host a field of storied high school basketball teams.
“We have seen KemperLesnik’s stellar results in numerous sporting events, particularly in basketball, and are excited to begin this relationship,” said Dr. Marlon Everett, Chicago Elite Classic 2014 executive director. “With their expertise and Chicago roots, the 2014 and 2015 Chicago Elite Classics will showcase the best the City of Chicago and high school basketball has to offer.”
KemperLesnik will be responsible for game management and operations for the event in addition to sponsorship and group ticket sales.

Dates and locations for the 2015 Chicago Elite Classic are still to be determined.
